Kurukh Banna Script - कुँड़ुख़ बन्ना लिपि :- कुँड़ुख़ आदिवासियों की लिपि - Kurukh Alphabet

KURUKH BANNA LIPI - कुँड़ुख़ बन्ना लिपि

Kurukh Banna Lipi, also known as Kurukh, is a script used for writing the Kurukh language, which is primarily spoken by the Oraon tribe in India. The Kurukh language is an Austroasiatic language that is mainly spoken in the Chota Nagpur Plateau region of India, which includes the states of Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, and West Bengal.

The script has a rich history and was traditionally used by the Oraon community to write religious and ritual texts. However, like many indigenous scripts, Kurukh Banna Lipi faced the risk of extinction as it was not widely used and was not taught in schools.

Efforts have been made to revive and promote the use of Kurukh Banna Lipi to preserve the cultural heritage of the Oraon community. In recent years, there have been initiatives to create educational materials and resources in the script, as well as to teach it in schools and promote its use in literature and other forms of communication. These efforts aim to ensure that the script continues to be a part of the Oraon cultural heritage.
